Camille Savage
Camille is our Community Impact Coordinator, a non-clinical position created in Veridian Wellness’ efforts of being an inclusive, culturally respectful and representative, safe space for all individuals regardless of sex, gender, immigration status, ethnicity and body of work. The role is focused on a greater mission of bridging the gap between therapy, community involvement, and mutual aid as well as Veridian Wellness’ specific role and connection to the many different and diverse Southern Nevada communities.
Camille is originally from Los Angeles but has been a proud Vegas local for the last 18 years. She holds a Bachelors of the Arts in Sociology with a Minor in Human Services from UNLV. Her work since then has revolved around human services with an international animal rights organization. While she has taken a hiatus from the world of academia, her passion for helping others, social justice causes, and cultivating empowering spaces for advocacy have led her to join Veridian Wellness’ team to provide insight and understanding into the unique identities that comprise Las Vegas, Henderson, and surrounding areas of Southern Paiute territory.
Off the clock, Camille enjoys spending time with her many rescued chickens and ducks, volunteering at All Friends Animal Sanctuary where she is a board member, trying new vegan restaurants, and relaxing with family and friends.
