Veronica Mullins, CPC Intern

Veronica is a graduate of the UNLV Honors College program who specialized her studies in Psychology and Neuroscience. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UNLV.

 

Veronica has experience working in a variety of pediatric and adolescent mental health settings. She has worked in UNLV’s Child Selective Mutism Research Lab, community centers such as The Boys and Girls Clubs, pediatric neuropsychological assessment centers, and as an in-home behavior therapist for children with autism. She has worked with children as young as two years old experiencing complex behavior issues, grief, anxiety, and depression. She also has experience working with adolescents and teens facing poverty and mental health disorders. Additionally, Veronica has worked in LGBTQIA+ centers conducting research with the adult sex working community and bringing systematic awareness to sexually exploited children in Nevada.

 

Veronica’s theoretical orientation is centered around advocacy, empowerment, and sincerity. Her therapeutic approach encompasses play based interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to best serve her clients.

Veronica accepts Clark County Victims of Crime Reimbursement. Her cash rate is $40/50-minute session.
